Action Photo of Andrew Cahill riding up Mt. Spokane on Harley 10/05/25 taken by Charlee Kyser

As an assignment for a class, we were supposed to take an exposition style or environmental photograph. For this, it was advised to choose someone unknown and whom looked interesting to you.

I had a person I know, but not very well, who is a biker. As such, I chose to take photos of Andrew Cahill. Andrew is a local Spokane-ite who works locally in local delivery and contracts.

Andrew has half sleeve tattoos, a fierce energy about him, rides a Harley, and has strong beliefs around politics. Cahill has owned his Healey for two years and is hoping to upgrade, soon. He loves riding and uses it as a method to blow of steam and get away from his 2 children. While he has only been riding for the last 2 years, he has wanted to bike since he was a kid.

The final image I used shows both the big and Andrew Cahill, focusing on the individual. It also shows the winding road and open spaces, behind. This is to signify riding the open roads and enjoying the ride, adventure, and freedom.
