Long Exposure and Late Nights

Spokane is all about seasons. Four of them, in fact. As such, summers tend to be long and warm , which is important when considering things like night markets and long exposures.

We happened to catch a calm, slightly warm night, when going out to do long exposure photography. This included a group of local photographers(and classmates,) plus children.

There’s a bridge in the U-district that is fairly new and is lit up at night. When we attended the Night Market in August, we realized the potential of said bridge.

On this particular night we took out 2 light up batons and 2 light sabers that were RGB and changeable. This gave us the chance to play around with long exposure shots and play around, in general.

These are the final edits but also the inspiration to do more night photography throughout the streets of Spokane.
